*Insert original intorduction here*

Hi.

Wow. That was trippy.
As in when I was trying to type this, the screen freaked out and dumped all the way back to the home page...
Chalking that one up to the fun "bad luck aura" I get with most electronics.

Anyways!
I found this comic completely on accident and it was so cute I couldn't not keep reading it. Then I drew a fan-art of Lillian to play around with Photoshop and figured I might try posting it. Then I found the forum! Then I went to go get something to eat, probably.
...
So here I am! YAYS! :D

Sorry, those are all gone. We only have 8-bit and Atari jello left.

Oh, and welcome, non-tasty girl!

To Darkside: Gelatin is a protein which is extracted from animal bones, tissue, organs and intestines. They use it to create Jello. I'm a vegetarian too and I found this out after eating this Asian jello shot thing. What happened after wasn't pretty.

There is a vegetarian form of gelatin, made from seaweed: see the Wikipedia article on agar (or "agar agar"):

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agar

Apparently it is used in some foods in Japan, but I have no personal experience and thus no idea what it tastes like (if it tastes like anyting at all: certainly, I don't recall jello tasting of much of anything, but then I haven't eaten jello since I was a kid, quite a while back). In fact, my only personal experience of agar is seeing it used in petri dishes to grow molds: not perhaps the best introduction... (well, I certainly wasn't going to try to taste it at that point).
